Great Britain is planning a bid to stage the world road race championships in the next decade, with Wales, Scotland and London the likely locations, and the likelihood of a suitably ambitious bid boosted by Mark Cavendish's victory in this year's title race in Copenhagen.

McEwen's second Franco Belge victory "unexpected"


Robbie McEwen has added a fifth victory to his season tally at the Tour de Wallonie Picarde (formerly known as Circuit Franco Belge), winning the fourth and last stage as well as the overall classification of the event on Sunday. The 39-year-old sprinter took the yellow jersey off Tom Veelers (Skil-Shimano) in the ultimate sprint in Tournai, thereby sealing his second overall victory of the race as he had previously won it in 2002.

Galimzyanov gets green with of Tour of Beijing.


Denis Galimzyanov of Katusha won the final stage of the Tour of Beijing, as Tony Martin (HTC-Columbia) took the overall win after leading the inaugural event from start to finish. Juan Jose Haedo (Saxo Bank-SunGard) and Elia Viviani (Liquigas) fininshed second and third respectively in the sprint finish near Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium.

Delhi Cycling Club : The Ring Road Ride - The ride took place in Delhi on 6th of October 2011.It is organised by Delhi Cycling Club on the occassion of Dassera.

Location : South ex. Mc Donald's/Puma and covering the whole of South to east of Delhi.


Goa Cycling Club : DAY D of DASSERA RIDE - The ride took place in dona paola and was organised by Delfim Correia Dah Silva.It was basically organised to enjoy the joy of Dassera.


Time & Date : October 6 2011, 6am to 5pm.
